Out on Pensacola Beach we have sunny skies. Wind is out of the east northeast blowing around 5-10 mph then switching to the east and increasing. Water temp is in the mid 60s with clear conditions. Surf is running in the ankle-knee high range. Light to moderate easterly flow will become moderate to strong tonight, then shift to onshore by Wednesday as a strong system approaches. Showers and thunderstorms will cross area waters Thursday into Thursday night, with some being strong to severe. Light to moderate flow will move in Friday behind a cold front, then become a moderate northwest to northerly as high pressure approaches from the west.
