Surf Alert : Future Michael?
Tropical Depression Fourteen, off the northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, is forecast to intensify to tropical storm status as it moves northward over the south central Gulf thru Monday and potentially to hurricane strength by Wednesday morning over the northern Gulf. It is too soon to know the exact location of landfall and the magnitude of this storm. Wind and waves will start in increase early tomorrow and continue through Thursday. There is an increasing risk for storm surge, wind, and rainfall impacts for portions of the northern gulf. People of the panhandle need to keep their eyes peeled.
